I am excited for the opportunity to be your next Cayuga County Clerk. I am looking forward to serving and bringing my unique combination of expertise and insight that is essential to this position. I've been a member of the DMV supervisory team for the last 13 years and I have served as a Senior Clerk in the County Clerk’s Office, all while working alongside our current County Clerk, Sue Dwyer.
As your County Clerk, I will bring a fresh perspective, a wealth of experience, and an unwavering commitment to serving the needs of our county and its residents. I will create a fully engaged workforce that is committed to implementing common sense solutions to streamline the business processes within our county. Additionally, I will explore innovative ways to increase revenue while diligently working to preserve existing services and restore those that have been lost. I cannot emphasize enough that this position requires hands-on involvement, and my extensive experiences have prepared me for a seamless transition come January 2024.
Moreover, I will be a familiar face and strong advocate for our county residents, ensuring that their needs are heard and addressed. The mission of the County Clerk’s office is to deliver excellent and efficient customer service to every individual who walks through the doors, this will be upheld and further enhanced under my leadership.
As a lifelong resident of Cayuga County, I have dedicated my time and efforts to improving the quality of life for its residents. My journey of volunteering began at the age of ten, when I raised funds for the American Heart Association. This experience was incredibly rewarding and instilled in me the importance of helping others. I quickly got involved with candy striping at our local hospital and haven't stopped volunteering since. I have been involved with numerous organizations: Girl Scouts, Odyssey of the Mind, Catholic Charities, United Way, Friends of Emerson, The Tim Tebow Foundation, and several others
Please consider getting involved with my campaign by making a donation, placing a yard sign or volunteering for campaign activities. We need a strong community of advocates who are willing to stand with me and help spread the word.
**Most importantly, I am urging all county residents to mark November 7th on their calendars and make their voices be heard by voting for Kristine Lytle for Cayuga County Clerk.**
